The past holds a rich repertoire of man's wisdom, preserved in living cultures as well as material artifacts. Each memento from the past has a story to tell, an experience to share and emotions to kindle. In many places of the world, there is a high respect for heritage. Pakistan is one of Asia's most unique places. It is a blend of modern & historical civilizations. The land of rivers, towering mountains, vast deserts, modern cities & ancient towns. The Government & people of Pakistan have inherited a rich legacy and are making sure that this be well conserved and shared with the rest of the world. Such a deep appreciation and commitment can only come from a continuous reinforcement and recognition of the value of our legacy.
The ITHM, Faisalabad campus is an endeavor to expand such awareness and appreciation through training and education. The Diploma at ITHM is a comprehensive qualification, which trains students for supervisory positions within the various sectors and functional departments of the Hotel and Catering Industry. The horizon of Pakistani hospitality industry in particular & globally in general continue to expand into oblivion. Today the hospitality industry contributes invaluably to the International economy by creating employment and entrepreneurial opportunities and by being one of the highest grosser's of foreign exchange for the national treasuries. Looking at the pace of growth of the hospitality industry, it is envisaged that there will soon be a marked shortage of managerial and technically skilled professionals. Keeping this in mind, ITHM's curriculum is designed to meet the challenges and demands of domestic and global markets. The aim of the Institute is to produce experts suited to all sectors of the hospitality industry including administration, planning and strategy development.
